Man vs. machine
"Connect to
disconnet. Only to
Try to reconnect.
Only this time
There's defects. Then,
The grime
Begins to fill my mind.
Time begins to slow
And these chains take their place
Slowly making me blind.
Stumbling,
Here I am again,
Beginning to crumble.
Of what do I gain
By being here?
Thinking into myself.
Of what need are these gears
When the outside crust
Begins to rust?
Bound to myself
Trapped in a mind all my own
Lost in the world's cognitive drone,
When I try to deny your kind.
These chains that bind
my mind
Also have hold
On my soul
And control
my very blood flow
That forces me to grow
Deeper into the need to controll
My very existence
Of which they call an inside out blood flow.
with it's only when
I begin
To feel myself fall
That I mark my skin.
All that I truly desire now
Is that feeling of love.
I only pray
I'm not dreaming.
I only pray
That I won't wake up someday
to find
That I've been lost inside
my own mind.
If this love is wrong
I pray,
I stay blind. "
